Have a question?

Hopefully, the answer is here! If not, I'd love to hear from you.

I’m not a doctor! Just a relentlessly curious mom with a spreadsheet addiction and a mild obsession with primary sources. Everything in this newsletter is based on a mix of:

Plus a generous dash of lived experience, late-night Googling, and “okay but does this happen to everyone?” energy. I make every effort to get the science right, but always check with your own provider for anything medical or specific to you.

YAY! Congratulations!! You can add your baby’s birthdate here so I stop sending pregnancy emails now that you’ve graduated. Down the line, this will also help me send age-appropriate postpartum or early parent content if I build that out.

There’s no automatic switch to new emails. This is just an update so your inbox matches your life.

Ah, I’m so glad you asked.

When I got pregnant, I was NOT chill. I wanted all the information I could get, subscribed to every app, and still felt totally pandered to... or stuck listening to something overly chipper about “the miracle of life” while I felt like garbage and wondered how I was going to survive that Wednesday.

I couldn’t find anything that talked to me like a real human. I wanted something that met women where they were that week (which for me, was generally exhausted, anxious, and over-researching) and still shared all the genuinely wild and fascinating things their body was doing.

Because when I understood why I felt a certain way, it helped. A lot. And yet, finding that kind of real, science-backed, week-specific info? Weirdly hard.

So I made what I needed. And also, on a personal note: I thought it would be really special for my daughter to have a record of what each week of my pregnancy felt like, in case she ever wants to go through it herself one day.

Honestly, so touched I've been asked this. Sending hugs.

I'm not doing this for money, but have quickly realized there are real costs to hosting a website, running the automations, and feeding my caffeine addiction as I write these. One way you can support this project for free is signing up for an Amazon registry through this link. Even if you're using a different platform for your main registry, it's worth signing up for the free goodie box! If you’re feeling inspired otherwise, I have a Buy Me a Coffee page set up. No pressure, lots of gratitude.
